Hell on earth

The spirit reveals the true hell

We will first look at the beliefs about hell that are in the world today. Let me add that it isn’t any wonder that people are confused about what hell really is, when you look at the website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell

When you think of hell, what do you see? If you thought of some poor person, drowning in a lake of fire, while being prodded by the devil with a pitchfork, then what you saw was closer to the truth than most think it is. You see, what you saw was an analogy of reality. The lake of fire spoken of represents the torment in the mind, the confusion and conflict within. The devil is actually the physical body that is seen as the master. The three pronged pitchfork represents, fear, guilt and beliefs. As you can see, this mythical being can and does, strike fear into the hearts of mankind.

Hell is a state that the soul finds itself in when suffering under a great burden. In this state all peace and love is lost to the soul and for some, it is the catalyst for taking their own lives for they feel they cannot live in this state.

Here is one example and of course, there are many levels of pain and many causes:

Jane falls deeply in love with John, but Jane is married to Peter who is in love with her, and is the father of her two children. Jane knows that if she leaves her husband, both he and the children will be very hurt, and she will feel their pain. Jane also knows that if she does not leave Peter to be with John, both she and John will be deeply hurt. Jane’s mind is being torn apart because she cannot decide what to do; her mind becomes a lake of fire.

Love’s Solution:

If Jane’s love is real love, then she will know that the greatest good is in staying with her family and in sacrificing her own desires. She should also realise that if John’s love was real, he could not take Jane away from her family because it would be at the cost of hurt to all concerned.

Hell is not outside the soul, because the soul could refuse to acknowledge it. Hell is a condition of the soul. Life can be heaven or hell. This is a basic view of hell. What is felt in the soul is also felt in the body and vice versa, so we feel the torment both spiritually and physically. So you see, whatever is felt in the soul, is reflected in the body, which then is sent back to the soul in an amplified state. If left unchecked, the feelings derived from emotions can become overwhelming and of course, they block out any sense of reasoning. In this state, the only course of action left is to realise that you can do nothing to end the conflict until you let go and see it as if it was another person’s problem, you can then tackle it with a clear perception. If you cannot find a solution then you have no choice but to accept and deal with the inevitable. There is no profit in hanging on to a breaking branch. It is far better that you concentrate on how and where you will fall.

You can only do what you are capable of doing, so you must accept your limitations and losses. Pain is something that is held on to by choice. If you cannot end it by solving its cause, then you must choose to let it go. Ending ones pain is always more profitable than ending ones life journey; acceptance is more profitable than denial. Forgiveness is the path to peace. Knowledge and understanding is the key to ending inner torment.
