What am I?

After the recognition that it exists as I AM, the soul’s first and greatest question is ‘What Am I?’ It is the question that begins all spiritual quests; it is the foundation on which all other knowledge rests. If this foundation is not solid, then faith and belief in all other things will be weak and subject to collapse. The soul that does not come to know itself is open to deception, control and insecurity. It is a soul without power.

 

The Soul

The soul is spiritual in nature, and therefore cannot be seen with the physical eyes. That which is spiritual in nature, can only be perceived with spiritual senses.

 

Image the soul as a bubble with an Orb in the centre. You are the Orb.

 

 

That which is referred to as ‘the soul’ is comprised of two parts, the Orb and its Domain.

Between the Orb and the surface of the bubble, is the soul’s domain. It is the soul’s kingdom where it rules supreme, and though in the world, the soul is not of it. Nothing can enter the soul’s domain, except by the Orbs will. It is ultimately the Orbs choice whether or not it will interact with the physical/material.  The Orb is eternal and indestructible. The Orbs domain is where it creates, and all that it creates is real. Nothing can be perceived unless it exists.

 

The Orb that is you is comprised of AWARENESS, DESIRE and WILL. From Awareness came desire and from desire came will.

 


Awareness


The Orb in the centre of the soul that is you, and that is surrounded by its domain, is usually referred to as ‘I’, for clarity we shall call it the Self.

 

The Self is made up of an incredible amount of packages of energy, all vibrating at different frequencies. The result being, a programmed entity that is so sophisticated and complex that it is free willed and aware of itself, and all that affects it.

 

The Self makes calculated choices based on its knowledge, desires, hopes, fears and the state it finds itself in at the time of making those choices. Belief and faith are based on choices already made, and they can result in different states such as fear, guilt, happiness etc.

 

There can be no effect without a cause; everything that exists has a cause, even consciousness. Many combined causes result in many combined effects; these combined effects result in one overall affect. Everything in existence is a result of a combination of different packages of vibrations.

 

Given the fact that there are an infinite amount of combinations available, you must consider that if there were no intelligent designer controlling the formations of combinations, then the result would be chaos, mixed with order. Imagine order forming in the midst of chaos, it would soon be destroyed by the surrounding chaos. If you check reality, you will see only order. That which we perceive as chaos, is order that is not understood.

Everything is perfect for the purpose that it was created for. When the soul was created, its overall condition was a state of vibration that we know as peace. This is the state where the Self’ is unaffected by vibrations from within or outside its domain.

 

The Self’ perceives everything as a change in its state of vibrations, which are affected by vibrations which come from outside of its self such as from; sight, sound, touch, taste, smell and even thoughts. All affects upon the Self are felt as either pleasure or pain.

 

All vibrations that come from outside of the Self’, either raise or lower the vibration of the Self. When the level of vibration of the Self is raised, it is perceived as pleasure; when it is lowered it is perceived as pain. When no outside vibrations are received by the Self, including those in its domain, then the Self becomes fully aware of its own vibrations, ‘Self aware’. We call awareness of vibrations ‘feelings’ – I feel therefore I AM.

 

Between each vibration within the Self there is a change in state, a change in energy level; it is the changes that are awareness itself.

 

Consciousness must have a cause therefore consciousness is an effect of a cause. Because vibrations make up all that is in reality, consciousness, which is awareness, is also made of vibrations. You see, you are not standing outside of the vibrations observing them, you are those vibrations. Feelings are changes in energy levels of the Self, which is the combined overall effect of all the changes in the packages of vibrations that make up the SelfFeelings are awareness.

 

If you were not those vibrations, then nothing could affect you that is outside of you, how then could you know that you exist? Nothing can exist without movement. Vibrations are the movement that brings all things into existence. The only thing that can affect a vibration is another vibration.

 

The Self has the ability to control its own vibrations to either, accept or reject the influence of outside vibrations. It also has the ability to control the vibrations within its domain. All vibrations are within and of the Source.

 

Awareness by itself has no purpose other than to exist, and no way of changing its state. For this reason, desire was written into the self program by the Originator.

 


What is Desire?


Desire is a requirement to change the state of the Self to a different level of overall vibration, either to its natural state of peace or a higher state of pleasure. This of course is affected by the Self knowledge, which contains its beliefs. The soul that perceives the spiritual and therefore, its true seat of life, will act quite differently from one that does not. Awareness gave rise to desire.

 

Awareness and desire alone can achieve nothing, therefore free will was also written into the Self’s program by the Originator.

 


What is Will?


Will is the ability to organise the Self’s vibration in order to cause a desired affect. The important thing to remember is, that the Self is of the same form as the Originator, and therefore is only limited in its abilities to create and control, due to its deficiency in knowledge and faith. Knowledge is power, so knowledge is limited until there is no desire to create that which opposes all that is good and right.

 

The free will can never be overcome, because everything that is done by the Self is always by choice, even if that choice was made because the Self was deceived or subjected to unbearable pain. In these circumstances, there is no guilt that can justly be felt by the Self.

 

We are not machines made of meat, we are the children of the Originator, we are less in perfection only to the Originator, and it is through the acceptance of the way chosen by the Originator that we too become perfected. The way of the Originator is the unifying way.

 


Self Science


The Orb in the centre of the soul that is the Self can be imaged as a ball, whose surface is in the form of receptors and transmitters of vibrations. As an analogy of size, you can compare the size of the Orb to a football, and the size of the receptors and transmitters to the atoms on the surface of the football.

 

Everything that is received by the Orb’s receptors, effects the overall vibration of the Orb (Self). The Orb (Self) is in a constant struggle to achieve a state of vibration that it perceives as its natural state, i.e. at peace, or a state that is higher i.e. pleasure. Any state below these is perceived as pain. As an analogy of the different states, think of water, its natural state is fluid, its lower state is ice, which restricts its movement and its higher state is steam, which frees its movement altogether. The sea is the natural state of water on the earth. Peace is the natural state of the soul in the spiritual ocean.

 

Two ice burgs were drifting along in the ocean, one said to the other ‘where do we come from’? The other ice burg said, ‘You will know when the sun begins to shine’.

 

The Orb chooses how many receptors it will use on anything that it perceives. We call this focus. Perception is reception. What we choose to perceive – we choose to receive. That which we choose to receive, affects the overall vibration of the Self and it becomes a part of the Self. The Self is life therefore, that which is received is given life. Awareness is knowing; knowing comes from knowledge. Wrong knowledge is detrimental to the Self

 

The Orb’s transmitters are activated according to its will, which is not completely dependant on its natural desire, but rather on its natural desire and knowledge accepted as truth. The Orb has the ability to vary the amount of transmitters it uses for a given task, and also the frequency and amplitude of the vibrations. Transmitted vibrations are used to create, or render inert other vibrations or to control the spiritual or the physical.

The Soul and Body Relationship

 

How does the soul interact with the body?

When we come into the world, we instinctively know where we are and realise where we are not. We do not question the place of our life. The ‘I’ knows where the ‘I’ is. As we grow and interact with the world, our place of life becomes evermore vague. We forget where we are and in doing so, we forget what we are, and we do not know ourselves any more. We become like a person, looking out from a window. Reality becomes only that which we see through the window that is our physical eyes. That person looking out of the window is the Self and the house we find ourselves in is a prison that we cannot leave, it is the Self’s domain.

 

When we close our eyes, it is like closing the curtains, it is then that our attention falls on that which is in our domain, and yet, it never falls upon the Self. When we realise all that we are not, then what remains is the one who is the realiser the Self.

 

The world is the outer domain, it is the place that has received most of our attention. Most, if not all of our knowledge is about the world, because it was in the world when we arrived.

 

It is now time to learn about other parts of reality, your reality and that of the inner domain. You are aware of them therefore they exist. It is time to step back and learn of the place that you live in, your Spiritual Domain.

 

This is where things get really interesting, and you should prepare yourself for a massive expansion of your understanding or rather, an expansion of consciousness. The diagram that I have presented, may look simple, but don’t let that fool you.

 

Let us look at the soul/body connection first.           

The Self that is in the centre of the soul’s domain can be

seen as the Puppet Master.

The physical body communication part of the soul’s domain,

can be seen as the String Holder.

The soul to physical body connection,

can be seen as the Strings.

The physical body can be seen as the Puppet

 

Now consider this:

The Puppet has cameras for eyes, the Puppetmaster wears small video screens over his eyes, so that he only sees what the Puppet sees, and from the Puppet’s perspective.

Let’s make things a little more interactive, and put microphones in the Puppet’s ears, and connect them to headphones on the Puppetmaster. After a while the Puppetmaster becomes so immersed in this new virtual reality that he thinks he IS the Puppet.

 

This is how we lose ourselves. We forget that we are the Puppetmaster and think that we are the Puppet, but we soon remember when the strings are cut. 


The Spiritual Cord


The connection between the soul and the physical body is sometimes referred to as a silver cord. It is actually a part of the soul’s domain that has interfaced with the brain. This connection is made by the will of the Self and it can only be adjusted or severed, by the will of the Self.

 

The soul’s domain merges with the brain to become the interface between the Self and body:

 

 

The Self and its domain are able to move away from the brain while still retaining its connection. This results in what appears to be a silver cord:

 

 

The silver cord relays information both ways in the form of vibrations, which can be termed as signals, and it is incredibly elastic, but it has limits and when the limits are reached, the soul’s domain gives up some of its volume to create more of what we refer to as a silver cord.

 

The outer edge of the soul’s domain, just like the inside, is a medium that transfers vibrations to the Self and so is sensitive to vibrations outside as well as inside. In effect, the soul’s domain is to the Self what the physical senses (sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell) are to the brain. These five senses relay information from the outer realm of the physical/material realm to the brain, and then to the Self’s single sensor, which is the soul’s domain. In other words, the Self has one collective sense and the body has five senses. The soul’s domain is the sixth sense.

 

The soul’s domain is the medium that carries vibration/information to the Self: 

 

If you consider how we perceive a lighted candle, you will realise that light reflects from the candle, falling on the eye, which then sends signals to the brain/soul interface, and onto the Self through the medium of the soul’s domain.

 

When the soul moves away from the physical body, yet is still connected to it, as in OBE (out of the body experience), it receives its information from the outer surface of the soul’s domain, instead of from the physical senses. In effect the Self sees things from the puppet masters perspective instead of the puppets.

 

If the vibrations of light had gone directly to the surface of the soul’s domain, then the position of the candle in relation to the physical body, would not have been sensed so accurately by the Self, instead of the eyes of the body. Think of the Puppetmaster trying to manipulate a puppet, whose eyes he cannot see through.

 

The only purpose for the physical body, is as a tool for learning in an environment that is separate in nature to the spiritual realm. The physical/material realm is a place where the Self can express its desires and free will, and gain knowledge through interaction with others. In this environment, the Self learns through its right and wrong choices what is good and right, until it eventually becomes perfected in right choices. Each step towards perfection, reveals a little more of the spiritual reality, until eventually the Self realises its true nature, and in becoming ‘Self aware’, all is revealed to it. When the Self confirms all that is good and right, and rejects all that is not good and right, it becomes incapable of harm or conflict, either in the material/physical realm, or the spiritual realm. It is then that the cycle of birth and death is ended and the soul returns to the place that it originated from.

Acceptance of all that is good and right is ‘THE WAY’


Images


The Self has the ability to create organised sets of different vibrations within its domain, with one or more of its transmitters, thereby forming a required image. The more transmitters used, the stronger the image.

The Self has the ability to receive, transfer and store these images according to its will.

Images are received on the outer surface of the Self by its receptors. How much the Self is affected depends on how many receptors it uses, in other words, how much the Self focuses on the image.


Memories


Part of the Self’s domain is used to store images, we call the images memories.

When an image is created, in the form of a set of vibrations, it is received by the Self’s receptors. The Self’s transmitters then re-create that image, which it then stores in its memory storage area known as the subconscious.

Think of it as a filing cabinet.

 

All images that are not in the Self’s focus are in the subconscious.

The strength of a memory is dependant on the strength of the Self’s transmitted vibrations.

Images are sustained by recreating the image, before the first vibration of the image fades.

All memories are weak until given greater focus.

Some memories are weaker than others and their strength is dependant on their use.

The area that memories are stored in, is dependant on their strength, the weakest are stored in an area called the ‘lower sub-conscious’, which refers to the area of the sub-conscious that receives the least focus of awareness until required.

 

Think of a filing cabinet with the least used files stored in the bottom drawer (lower subconscious) and the most important, stored at the top.

 

This brings me to something very important.

 

At the time of being created, every soul was imbedded with a great amount of knowledge that was formed in the lower subconscious area, and made so weak it is almost imperceptible. These memories are truths that are not considered until truth is found elsewhere by the Self and seeks confirmation.

This is how we know the truth.

Those who seek will find.

Those, whose desires conflict with truth, will not seek truths confirmation.

We have slept in ignorance and denial, following only our own desires, not caring to remember the knowledge we came with; each going our own way in pursuit of our primal instincts: SELF PRESERVATION, AVOIDENCE OF PAIN and the ACQUISITION OF PLEASURE and in our quest for these things, we are rewarded with the opposite.

 

Whatever images are brought into greater focus, are then re-created in the creation area of the soul’s domain. It is there that the Self’s desires are considered against its knowledge; this is what we call reasoning. The vibrations from any image the Self creates, affect the Self.

 

The Self sends images to the brain to cause an effect on the physical body, such as emotional expressions that let other people know the state of the soul, i.e. happy, sad, confused, angry etc. It is a form of communication called ‘body language’. When misused, it aids in deception.

 

All images sent to the brain, have an effect; each effect can then be seen as a set of instructions. Only that which is in the Self’s strongest focus is sent to the brain.

That which is felt in the body, is felt in the Self

That which is felt in the Self, is felt in the body

This is how the ‘two become as one’. It is also how we heal or harm the body.

 


Focus of Awareness


You can only focus on ONE thing at a time?

 

Try the following examples:

 

  1. Begin tapping your finger on something without stopping, and count the taps, 1 2 3 4 5, 1 2 3 4 5. Keep repeating this. As you tap and count in your mind, go back to the top of the page and start reading. You will find that you can’t do both at the same time and that your focus is on one then the other.
  2. Try reading or watching a movie when someone is talking to you.
  3. Try looking at a picture and you will realise that you are not seeing all of it clearly. Your focus will only be on one part and the rest will be out of focus.

 

We go through life seeing everything but very little is seen clearly. It is as if most of it is blurred, yet still seen.

 

Awareness has to deal with many things. These things are not dealt with simultaneously, but rather one at a time.

Awareness transfers its focus at an incredible rate from one set of vibrations, (images) to another.

 

We see only that which we want to see.
