Spiritual Evolution

A place to heal the soul and free the spirit

The Reason for Creation

In using the term CREATION here, I am referring to the creation of the Universe and sentient (living, conscious, aware) beings.

For all the knowledge and power that the infinite God possessed, and for all of God’s goodness, there came a point when God realised, that there was no other being of the same nature or likeness, no other free willed consciousness to communicate with and share all that was known and created; God was alone.

What was God to do? Nothing else existed except that which conformed to God’s will without choice. Now God could have created other souls already obedient and admiring, but they wouldn’t have been that way out of their own free will or choice, so they would be worth nothing. It would have been like a man, taking a coin from his pocket and giving it back to himself.

God realised that it would only work if a conscious being was allowed to choose between right and wrong, of their own free will.

So God created new conscious beings and gave them each a domain (mind) of their own. In each domain (mind) was placed a little truth and a place of separation was prepared.

The new conscious beings and their domains (souls) could not stay in God’s domain. If they had, then they would have only been able to interact with God’s domain and there is only order there, so the souls would not have a choice between right and wrong. So God created a void (empty space) in its domain. Within the void, God set in motion that which was to eventually become the Universe as we know it. The Universe was made as a prison for souls, a place of separation from God’s kingdom. A place where they could choose between right and wrong by their own will.

First Part of Creation – THE VOID

There was only God, so there was nothing else to create from but God. There was no place outside of God, because it filled infinity, so creation had to be within God.

So God created a void by removing its consciousness from a part of its body. There was no life in the void because God's self awareness (which is the life) and its knowledge were removed. This void was the empty Universe.

Second Part of Creation – THE UNIVERSE

Within the void, God created all that is material/physical, and the forces that drive them. This includes the stars, planets and all that is upon them and between them. Everything in the Universe, seen and unseen is comprised of varying degrees of the vibration of the body of God. As mankind looks ever deeper into the finite world of sub-atomics, they will eventually only find the vibrations in the ethereal body of God. There is nothing in the Universe that is solid. If I could make an analogy I would say, air cannot be seen, and yet when it moves fast enough, it has great force, and music is no more than varied vibrations of the air.

So you see that everything in the material realm is the effect of God's will on the unconscious Source (the Source without awareness). There is no life (awareness and free will) in the material/physical realm, there is only order through cause and effect without will. Chaos is order that is not understood.

Third Part of Creation - PLANTS

From the material God created plants. They were not conscious and they had no will of their own. They were as the lower life forms that have the ability to multiply, and the limited ability to adapt to their environment. From the plants, came the breath of life, food, shelter, medicines and much more. They were part of the environment that would sustain biological life-forms. Plants are the foundation stone for all life in and of the material realm.

Fourth Part of Creation – FREEDOM TO CHOOSE

Having prepared the place of separation and individuality for its children, where each as a soul would be set free to self evolve, and return in perfection of their own free will, God had understood that the children would need a choice, other than that which was all good and right. The choice would have to be opposite to God's chosen way. The choices would have to be balanced without unjust influence; all must be fair.

God had created all knowledge. There was the knowledge that was good and right and the knowledge that was opposed to good and right. God had chosen all that was good and right as the Way; in it there was no conflict or disorder.

That which was good and right was called Love. It was God's will and it was of Truth. That which was opposed to Love was called hate and it was of lies. God possessed the knowledge of good and evil, and it was this knowledge that was given to the children, so that they may choose freely by their own will, as God had done.

If you Love someone, set them free, if they Love you they will return. This is how we know that Love is true, perfect and of the free will, it is how the two become as one.

Fifth Part of Creation - SOULS

God being all that was in existence in eternity, and the only life, gave a part of itself for the creation of souls. God's knowledge was removed from the new souls; that is all knowledge except for that which was necessary. All souls were made living, conscious and aware. They were of God, but not God complete.

Each soul was created innocent and neutral when placed in the Universe, a place of separation until perfection. An even greater separation awaited the new souls, a place where God would let go of the hand until it was taken up again, a place where God could only watch over and wait with hope, until found.

Sixth Part of Creation - CREATURES

From the material world, God began creating the creatures and made them in many forms, each with the ability to evolve and adapt to their needs and the ever changing environment. Each creature was a physical body with senses adapted to the material world, but each was incapable of living without a soul, which is the life that makes it sentient (living, conscious, aware).

The souls of all the creatures were instilled with free will, the knowledge of self preservation, and a means to connect to the physical senses, so that it could perceive and interact with the physical/material world. The greatest of the physical senses, were pain and pleasure, (which aided survival and procreation) these would ensure the continuation of the species. The soul needs the body to interact with the world, and the body needs the soul for its survival. The soul is immortal, the body is mortal. The body was created for the soul.

Above all creatures, God created mankind’s physical body for the souls of its children, the souls made in the image of God. The anatomy of mankind’s physical body was designed with greater attributes to interact with the material world. These attributes would give mankind the ability to dominate all other creatures and the material world.

Of all the souls created to interact with the world, only mankind has the knowledge of good and evil, and it is because of this that all other creatures of this world are innocent in their actions, they do only that which is necessary for survival and pleasure.

Mankind is the only creature that can comprehend and understand the spiritual. This is why we comprehend the mortality of our physical body and animals do not, yet there are souls of some animals that have evolved enough to experience love.

The souls of mankind were given the desire and ability to question all things and search for answers concerning both the spiritual and material, the greatest being the search for and understanding of, God, the Self, and the meaning of life; for the way home.

God's plan is perfect, flawless and for Love’s fulfilment. Now you have seen the reason for creation, the meaning of life, the purpose of life and that all creation was made for you and that you are worth more than the material/physical Universe.

Your soul is a part of God that was set free…return with Love.
